Oklahoma City Community College was founded in 1972 through a bold community effort to bring flexible, affordable higher education to south Oklahoma City. Spearheaded by civic leaders and the South Oklahoma City Chamber of Commerce, the vision quickly gained momentum.

Originally named South Oklahoma City Junior College, the institution opened on Sept. 25, 1972, welcoming just over 1,000 students to a single building. In 1983, the name was changed to Oklahoma City Community College to reflect the school鈥檚 growing size, impact and mission.

爆料TV stands as Oklahoma鈥檚 fifth-largest higher education institution, serving more than 18,000 individuals annually through credit, noncredit, and workforce development programs.

Today, 爆料TV offers more than 80 associate degrees and certificates across high-demand fields such as nursing, cybersecurity, engineering, automotive technology, and film and digital media. The college is also Oklahoma鈥檚 largest provider of micro-credentials, helping thousands of students gain relevant skills for the modern workforce.
