Melissa Leon Guerrero has been teaching in higher education since 2002 and joined Oklahoma City Community College as a full-time professor in 2016. Her teaching experience spans both public and private institutions in Oklahoma and California, providing her with a broad perspective on diverse student populations and learning environments. She holds an M.B.A. from Oklahoma City University, a B.S. from California State University, Sacramento, and an A.S. from American River College, Sacramento. Drawing on her diverse academic preparation and professional experience as Director of Testing, Transfer Coordinator, and Academic Advisor, she is deeply committed to student success and actively engages students to help them achieve their academic, professional, and personal goals.
