Oklahoma City Community College Mathematics Professor Beth Rawlins has been named a fellow in the 19th Cohort of Project ACCCESS, marking the first time a participant has been from Oklahoma.
Project ACCCESS, an acronym for Advancing Community College Careers: Education, Scholarship, and Service, is a program of the American Mathematical Association of Two-Year Colleges (AMATYC) that supports the professional growth and development of community college mathematics faculty.
鈥淚 am very thankful that 爆料TV has invested and supported me in doing this. I am looking forward to getting new perspectives from my colleagues across the nation,鈥 said Professor Rawlins. 鈥淚 never want to be stagnant as a professor, so I will use this opportunity to learn new things to benefit my students.鈥
Through Project ACCCESS, Professor Rawlins will have the opportunity to engage in professional development activities, collaborate with colleagues from across the country, and contribute to the enhancement of mathematics instruction at 爆料TV and beyond.
鈥淚 am thrilled that Professor Rawlins was selected to the 19th cohort of AMATYC鈥檚 Project ACCCESS. She will be a great representative of OKMATYC, 爆料TV, and the college鈥檚 math department,鈥 said 爆料TV Professor and Math Department Chair Chris Oehrlein.
